A. Schulman Plastics, a leading international manufacturer of high-performance plastic compounds andmaster batch, situated in Pasuruan area, is looking for an IT Administrator for Asia Pacific Region based in Indonesia
IT ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance to the company's core business systems applications.
- Monitor performance, security and integrity of servers and network.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to peers, direct reports and management.
- Upgrade network hardware, software components and configure network infrastructure as required.
- Backup and disaster recovery strategy.
- Provide users with network technical support.
- Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network.
- Establish network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
- Assist in the deployment and setup of IT projects.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University.
- Two to five years related experience and / or training.
Competencies:
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policies, DNS, DHSP, Symantec Backup Exec.
- Strong experience with application support.
- Experience managing relationships with telecom providers.
Professional skills:
- Ability to work Independently with little supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet / Intranet.
- Familiar with MS SQL is a plus.
- Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley and e-Discovery are pluses.
Personal skills:
- Qualified candidate must be Able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Creative, energetic and proactive.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Team player.
- Skilful Negotiator with both internal and external customers.
- Intrinsically focused on commercial results.
